At C.F. Richards Christian School we are working to reach out to children in our community. To that end, being able to offer scholarships to students makes it possible for children whose families cannot afford full tuition to still attend one of the best Christian Schools in Staunton.dollars

Twelve students at C.F. Richards Christian School are receiving partial or full scholarships due to this effective, low cost program. Additionally, the burden on our churches to supply worthy student funds has lessened with this additional source of scholarship money. Last year we raised $32,000, this year we need $50,000. Won’t you consider helping us? The tax credits and deductions available when your next taxes are due, make donating to the fund for C.F. Richards an easy way to contribute!

The Virginia Tax Credits Scholarships Program provides state tax credits for persons or businesses making monetary or marketable securities donations to approved scholarship foundations that provide scholarships to eligible students for qualified educational expenses incurred in attending eligible nonpublic schools.

The Potomac Conference Education Foundation is a scholarship foundation approved to participate in the Virginia Tax Credits Scholarships Program. The Foundation’s emphasis is on using funds donated through the Virginia Tax Credits Scholarships Program to provide scholarships to financially eligible students so they can attend Adventist schools. End of September News

Thank you for your support!

Dear Church Members and Donors,

I want to thank all of you that gave your funds and time to C.F. Richards last year. The funds raised helped to provide scholarships for 8 low-income new students at our school! For those of you who gave to the Potomac Education Foundation’s Scholarship last year – the names of the contributors are kept confidential – please know we appreciate you!

This year enrollment at C.F. Richards has grown by 35%!
God has brought many new students to us this year, and with that we have a larger need for scholarship funds. If you contributed to the Potomac Education Foundation’s Scholarship last year, please do so again. If you did not, please consider doing so this year.

After I participated in the scholarship program last October, I received 95% of my donation back in the form of 2015 tax credits and itemized charitable deductions! It is an easy way to support Christian Education at very little cost. It was easy, I looked at what I had paid in state taxes the year before and donated that amount! All I had to do was fill out and send in one form and then my deposit once I received approval from the state.

Individuals and Businesses are eligible to contribute. Won’t you please enroll this October and contribute before the end of the year? To begin the process or to get more information, please read below. We are on our way to raising $25,000 for this semester and need your help.

I appreciate your prayers and consideration. Please contact me if you have questions. If you want to contribute to C.F. Richards in another way, please donate to our Worthy Student Fund.
Thank you.

Yours in Christ,
Jennifer Hackley
