Staunton Christian School Receives Full Accreditation Once Again

Fully Accredited for 6 More Years!

Praise the Lord!
On February 7th and 8th C.F. Richards Christian School was evaluated by members of the Adventist Education Accreditation team and a Middle States Accreditation representative. I am pleased to report that the visiting team is recommending that C.F. Richards Christian School be fully accredited for the next six years. This is the highest level of re-accreditation awarded. After their report goes through a vetting process, we will receive our formal accreditation in July. This accreditation will also renew our accredited standing with the Virginia Council of Private Schools which reviews accreditation for the Virginia Department of Education.

Accreditation is an external, objective evaluation of school quality and student achievement. It ensures that our school is meeting high quality standards in many areas including instruction, curriculum, student achievement, leadership, safety, technology, and community outreach. Along with many commendations, the team also gave us several constructive recommendations for us to implement as we continue to grow and improve.

Thank you to everyone that helped the school prepare for this renewal process.

A big thank you goes out to our students!
The visiting team was very impressed by our kids as they expressed their love for our school, appreciation for their teachers and peers, and gratitude for the individualized support they receive. Best of all, they spoke of how their relationships with Christ are growing by attending CFR!

The students, once again, remind me of how blessed we are at C.F. Richards Christian School. We truly are a growing community of learners who love God and serve others!

Very Humbly yours,
Jennifer Hackley
Principal
